Amnesty International against torture – really everywhere?

Amnesty International maintains that it is fighting against torture in many states. However, there are exceptions.
Amnesty International London, possibly under the influence of its “advisor for Lithuanian cases”, Dovydas Vitkauskas, who, as many say, used to forge complaints of Lithuanians as a former legal secretary in the European Court of Human Rights, refuses to deal with torture cases (e.g. extorted “confessions”) and other human rights violations in the pseudo-democratic police state Lithuania, stating that it only intervenes, if the rights of homosexuals and Lesbians are being violated.
